Compassionate Staff
Our personnel has been carefully chosen based on their education, personal philosophy of caring for and educating young children and expertise in the field of Early Childhood Education. Each staff member has a passion for early education which is evident in the activities planned, lesson plans and interactions with the children.
STREAMin³ Curriculum
Augusta School implements the STREAMin³ curriculum from our infant room to our pre-school classroom (4-5 years old). This curriculum prioritizes the child's social and emotional development just as much as their educational development.
A key defining aspect to this curriculum is identifying and understanding that the stages of development look different with every child. Identifying and understanding this allows for the teacher to adapt learning activities so the child can still participate and learn from it.
The overall goal with this curriculum is to foster your child's developmental, intellectual, social and behavioral skills.
Effective Programs
Augusta School offers programs from infants to 12 years old.
Our after school program consists of picking your child up from their elementary school in our Augusta School bus and bringing them back to our center. Once back, your child will have afternoon snack and spend the rest of the day engaging in creative activities as well as completing any homework.
We offer summer camps for kids between 6 and 12 years old upon the conclusion of their regular school year. The summer camp offers weekly field trips ranging from trips to the Library to visits to the National Zoo.
